Adi comes home drunk: promotion cancelled!

Sakshi puts the kids to bed and waits in the living room for Adi. It's 10pm, and he's still not back. She tries calling him, but he doesn't answer. 11pm passes, and Sakshi dozes off. At midnight, the bell rings & Adi is back.

Sakshi opens the door for him, but recoils, since he's drunk. Shocked He comes in & gives a speech: Ladies & Gentlemen, this is my wife, who's less of a wife and more of a hubby LOL who on every issue talks about just, unjust, legal, illegal,... He then is about to collapse, and Sakshi tries to help him up. Sakshi asks him if he's drunk, and he says he is. He then says it's time to celebrate, and so he did. And it's all due to her. Sakshi is shocked. He asks her whether she doesn't want to know what the celebration was for?

Sakshi tells him that he reeks, and asks him to go in & freshen up, and they'll talk after that. Adi refuses, and tells her that they'll talk right now!!! He then tells her she's won! He tells her that Mr Phadke cancelled both his promotion and his increment. Sakshi is shocked to hear that. Adi adds that Shekar, who's 3 years his junior, got promoted. She's won. It's time to celebrate LOL Saying this, Adi collapses on the sofa.

Sakshi lays him down & covers him w/ a blanket. She then sits down, feeling rather guilty.

Neeraj finds Sandhya gone

Neeraj goes around looking for Sandhya, but can't find her. Suddenly, he turns to find Suni chachi, who hushes him up. She takes him to a secluded area and asks him what is he up to - where was the need to tell Sandhya anything? Wasn't it enough that just he knew? Didn't he get enough hints from the way she was treated? She tells him that what he's done now endangers Sandhya's family.

Neeraj asks her where Sandhya is, so that he could fix his error. Suni tells him it's too late now, since Yuvsa left this morning for Mumbai. (Thank god for that - I mean what on earth could Neeraj have told Sandhya, other than lying even more? Clap) She tells him he can't do this on the phone, and now everybody @ home is panic stricken, not knowing what Sandhya might reveal. She is now worried about what might happen to Sandhya.

Yuvsa arrive @ Jayesh's place

Jayesh is cooking, or at least making a valiant attempt @ it Clap Yuvsa arrive, and seeing them, his kids are excited. They run out and hug Sandhya Hug and Jayesh goes out to welcome them. He asks them why they are here all of a sudden, and Yuvi tells him that Sandhya told them that there is Gokul Asthami around the corner, and that they celebrate here every year, and that Sandhya attends them always? Jayesh says they do, but is surprised to hear that Sandhya attends it every year Shocked (Uh-oh, Jayesh, you just unwittingly gave Yuvi a hint that he's under suspicion by Sandhya) Yuvi looks @ Sandhya suspicious, while she tells him that she is @ this colony every year celebrating Gokul Ashthami. Jayesh says that it probably escaped him, since he normally attends office on that day. Yuvi smiles @ his statement. Jayesh says that this is the first one that he's @ home for.

Sandhya says that that's what, and that Tai (Savita) knows, and where is she? Jayesh makes up a story that she is out in his village - every year he goes for some property work, but this year, she's there. Will be back after 5 days. Yuvi is relieved to hear that she's not around, and says they won't be staying that long. They'll meet her next time. Jayesh tells them not to surprise them next time LOL His daughter asks whether they'll have all the conversation outside, and so they all go in.

Sakshi apologizes, but Adi still pissed

Adi is ready to go to work, and Sakshi gives him his tiffin, and apologizes, saying that she felt pretty bad about what happened. Adi tells her that there is no need to apologize, since she is never wrong - she just can't be. The mistake was his - he never thought even once b4 marrying her Shocked Sakshi is shocked to hear this, and Adi continues - even b4 marriage, she'd talk about justice and gender equality, but he was just blinded by love. If he hadn't married her, he wouldn't have had to see this day. Shocked

Sakshi tells him that he's taking big leaps, and his frustrations out on her. She admits that she was at fault for not cooking that day, but she couldn't, and how could she know that his boss will make such a big deal of getting restaurant food. She also tells him that his promotion doesn't depend just on that dinner - performance @ work is also a major criteria. This pisses off Adi, who tells her to be his wife, and not to try and be his hubby. He knows fully well that she's worked where he works. But there's a big difference b/w then & now, and that along w/ performance and hard work, families too need to be involved. But how does it matter to her, since her daycare is more important. But he doesn't need her sympathies, and leaves, w/o taking the tiffin. Sakshi is frustrated.

Sarla too expresses doubts about this plan

Pankaj is in his room, and notices Sarla sitting quietly on her bed. He asks her whats in her mind, and she asks her why are they doing all this? Sunita too is a bahu in this house, so why are they doing all this to her? Pankaj asks her why she is so suddenly asking all this, when she knows what Sunita is doing against this family. She says she does, but not, even Dada-saheb is against this, as is Neeraj. She says they are one family, and she too has her kids, so how long will they all be obsessed about Yuvi? Pankaj stops her, and tells her that this family is one, and Yuvraj is its one son. (What would they do if Sandhya could only deliver daughters for Yuvi? Sarla brings up a good point - why not prepare Jyoti & Priya to assume family responsibilities as well?) All of them would do anything for him, and stand together for him - including her. He concedes that dada-saheb has suddenly started going off the reservation, talking like a common person, forgetting that Yuvi was not born normal. But he won't tolerate his wife going off the reservation.He folds his hands and begs her to never even think of it. Sarla looks @ him tearfully.

Jayesh visits Savita

Savita tells Jayesh that it's good he didn't tell Sandhya about her injury, or else, she'd have been very upset w/ her. She too feels like meeting Sandhya, and Jayesh tells her that she'll come again. Savita then tells him to call Sakshi. She verifies that he cooks LOL and he says he made khichri. Savita decides that offering them khichri is a bad idea and decides to call Sakshi.

Sakshi picks up the phone, and Savita tells her that Sandhya is in town, and has not been told that Savita is in hospital. Sakshi suggests that Jayesh send them to her place, but Savita suggests to Sakshi to go there, since Sandhya wants to show Yuvi the dahi-anda celebrations. Sakshi agrees, and tells her that she did well in not telling Sandhya that she was in hospital. She assures her that she'll take care of everything.

Abhay's godman has a phone conversation

The godman who was @ the Deshmukh home yesterday is @ home w/ a woman (presumably his wife or mistress) and on the phone w/ somebody. He is Swami Parmanand, and the person he is addressing sounds like one Baman Rao. He tells him that he had a dream, where that person was in a bad situation, and with something bad happening to him financially. Rao is shocked, and the godman tells him that he should do something about it, since his dreams normally come true. Rao asks him to suggest something, and Parmanand tells him that he should put a new person in charge of his business. His kundali combines well w/ Rao's. He tells him to take some orders tomorrow and offer it to Abhay Deshmukh's son Rohit Deshmukh. Rao asks - that miser? He doesn't have a clue about running a business, and he'll sink everything. The godman tells him to trust him, and that he's seen his kundali.

He also tells Rao not to reveal that he's told him that, or else everything will go waste. Rao agrees. After he gets off the phone, he tells the woman that Rohit will get the result of yesterday's puja tomorrow, and that he'll then teach Shradhya a lesson.

Sakshi arrives to meet Sandhya

Sandhya thinks that on the pretext of attending Gokul Asthami, she came here to talk to Tai, but Tai is in Jiju's village. Outside, Yuvi is relieved that Savita ain't around, but has figured out that Sandhya did not have this habit of attending Gokul Ashthami, and just made it a pretext so that she could yak to her sisters about what all is happening to her. That is why Jayesh was surprised. But now, her plans have come to naught.

However, Yuvi turns, and sees Sakshi & kids run in. Sakshi greets him, and tells him that since he doesn't come to their place, when they found out he's in town, they came to see him. How is married life? Yuvi says it's great. She tells the kids to greet him, and then sends them inside.

Sandhya comes out and greets Sakshi. Sakshi asks her why she's become so thin? She asks her whether she's happy. Yuvi turns to Sandhya to see her response, and Sandhya says she is. Yuvi smiles, and Jayesh tells them to all go in. They all do, except Yuvi. He thinks that just when he thought he was free of the eldest, the second one is now there, and she's the most astute of the lot. Clap He is worried if Sandhya discloses all to Sakshi.

FV concludes by saying that in a marital fight, when the fight is out in the open, it's within their control. But when it becomes a cold war like situation w/ the 2 of them indirectly fighting each other, then anything can happen.

Prabhavati tells Sunita that they do not enjoy doing to her what they have done, and she tells her that if she fulfills certain wishes of hers, her parents would get back what they've lost.
