In RP’s room, he is upset abt Kabir betraying him. Chachi tells him to kick Jyoti out before her tears melt the hearts of the family. In her room, Padma comforts Jyoti and tells her that she knew that the family would never be able to understand her sacrifice. Kabir comes there and comforts Jyoti. He tells her that she did nothing wrong, and it was right on a mother’s part. She still asks forgiveness from him. In the other room, Asha, Bhavri, Sumer and Rashmi are shocked that Jyoti kept this secret from them. Raghu comes there with Vikrant and tells everyone that he knew abt this, and he explains to them why Jyoti and Kabir felt like no one would understand the sacrifice they made.
All head of Jyoti’s room, when RP stops them. They make it clear to him that they are on Jyoti’s side no matter what and will leave the house if Jyoti leaves. They all meet Kabir and Jyoti in their room, and tell them not to go anywhere and give them their support. Meanwhile at the mandir Pankaj is crying abt how he was insulted. Chachi comes there and offers to give him what he wants with a new plan. He agrees. End.
Precap: Kabir is taking Jyoti in an ambulance to the hospital, as she is in labor. Their car is stopped by some masked men who tell Kabir to take Jyoti out of the car. He beats some of them up, but one masked man holds a gun up to his face.

Jyoti 27th September 2010 Written Update
Jyoti rushes to the rally after seeing the pic of Kabir sent to her. The car breaks down and she decides to run. Her shoe breaks so she starts running barefoot and her foot starts bleeding. Kabir and the rest spot her coming and she runs up screaming for Kabir to return home at once. The assassin is ready to shoot and takes out the photo given to him. We see the whole thing and we see that Jyoti’s face was actually the one with an X on it. Jyoti’s mangulsutra falls to the floor and as she bends to get it the assassin shoots. Jyoti is hurt and is rushed to the hospital.
At the hospital, Jyoti is taken into the ER while the rest of the family gets there. RP notices how Chachi and Vik exchange smirks. The doctor comes out and announces that Jyoti was just grazed by the bullet and is not hurt. Kabir goes in to meet her and Jyoti tries to make the moment light. He returns her mangulsutra and puts it around her neck. Outside, Chachi yells at the assassin over the phone. RP overhears this and asks her if she was not behind all this. Chachi and Vikrant return home and Chachi explains to Vikrant abt her plan and how getting Jyoti out of the way would’ve helped her so much.
At the hospital at night Kabir is feeding Jyoti. He leaves to get meds and Jyoti gets up to drink some water. She feels someone calling out to her and wanders off. Kabir finds her and takes her back to the room. Just then we see Pankaj and Roshni walk into the hospital. End.

Jyoti - 1st September 2010 Written Update
Kabir tells everyone that even against God he would support Jyoti. She is happy hearing this and Kabir announces that if the family is going to misunderstand her, then they will be leaving. Jyoti objects, but Kabir explains to her that he is taking this decision in their best interest. Jyoti understands and follows him. RP stops them, asking what will come of his ticket. Kabir says he will help him from afar now. RP asks where they will go, and Kabir says that he should have stopped him first. They go to their room. Chachi is overjoyed and calls Vikrant with the good news.
Bhavri asks Asha why she didn't say anything. Asha gets flashes of Sumer's threats. Sumer enters there and Bhavri leaves. Sumer tells Asha that lies aren't believed unless they are asserted again. He brings her along with him. In their room, Kabir explains why he left in the first place to Jyoti. RP and Chachi come there and try to get Kabir to stay, in vain. RP slaps Sumer and tells him to tell the truth. Asha enters and Kabir questions her one more time. Jyoti suggests talking to her in private. Kabir takes Asha into a room and asks her again what happened. Before narrating anything, she tells Kabir that whatever she is doing is for their best. She says something to him in mute.
Kabir comes out of the room and says that Asha still doesn't agree with Jyoti and they are leaving now. Later, Jyoti is packing and Bhavri asks what will become of her once Jyoti leaves. She tells Jyoti how lucky she is to have a hubby like Kabir. Jyoti and Kabir are all set to leave with their bags. Asha pulls Jyoti's hand back as she is leaving but Jyoti lets it go. Jyoti-Kabir walk to the exit but stop before they leave. Jyoti tells Kabir that they cannot leave against everyone's wishes. Asha, Bhavri and Reema are overjoyed while the rest fume in anger. End.
