West Bengal State Electricity Board (WBSEB) came into being on 01.05.1955 and was operating within the state of West Bengal in India until 31.03.2007. It has now been restructured and split into two companies namely West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (WBSETCL) and West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL).
West Bengal State Electricity Board (WBSEB) invites applications from Indian Nationals to fill up the following vacant posts.

01. Assistant Engineer (Electrical) : 36 posts
02. Assistant Engineer (IT&C) : 16 posts
03. Assistant Manager (F&A) : 12 posts
04. Assistant Manager (HR&A) : 07 posts
05. Assistant Manager (Stores) : 03 posts
06. Sub Assistant Engineer (Electrical) : 137 posts
07. Assistant : 587 posts
How to Apply : The candidates for the post under Sl. No. 01 to 05 are required to submit Bank Draft of Rs. 400/- and for Sl. No. 06 @ Rs. 300/- and for Sl. No. 07 @ Rs. 250/- as application fees (SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying application fees).
The last date of receipt of all documents with Registration Slip and Bank Draft is 18.11.2010. Incomplete papers/without Bank Draft/Received late are liable to be rejected.Online submission of the applications will be allowed on the website between 27.10.2010 and 15.11.2010. No other means/mode of application shall be accepted.
