Impact Opener:

Sting comes out and says everything is not as it seems, and it might be ironic from him, but there's alot of smoke and mirrors around here. He says things have gone "Hollywood" and he has had to defend his word and reputation before. Sting says he will explain his actions when he takes the title from RVD at Slammiversary. Sting doesn't know RVD, and RVD doesn't know him, but RVD was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. When he takes the title from RVD the curtain will be pulled back and everyone will be exposed for who they really are. After this the arena goes dark and footage of Sting beating up Jeff Jarrett at Sacrifice begins palying.

Eric Bischoff comes out using a crutch and is accompanied by Miss Tessmacher. He has the spotlight put on Sting. He’s known Sting a long time and he thinks Sting’s trying to prove to people that he’s a superhero for so long he’s started to believe it. Bischoff says Sting just hides behind his mask and up in the rafters. It’s not about him, it’s about the company, not just one person. It’s about the action and tonight he’ll be in action. Samoa Joe sneaks in behind Sting and Bischoff announces him as Sting’s opponent. Joe attacks Sting but Matt Morgan runs down and attacks Joe. Sting and Morgan beat on Joe till RVD runs down for the save.

Bischoff comes back up the ramp and says this isn’t over and will continue later as a tag match. Samoa Joe & RVD vs. Sting & Matt Morgan. RVD gets on the mic and says hang on, every guy out here is in it for himself. He asks that the match be changed to a four way. Bischoff says he doesn’t have that authority, then Hogan’s music hits and out comes Hogan. He says since RVD won the title he has set the bar really high and since he is the champ that gives him some stroke around here. Hogan tells him since he's got some pull he's got his match and this match is a four way.

Backstage AJ is complaining to Christy about just finding out he is in a three-way match with Kazarian and Jay Lethal tonight. Flair walks in with Kazarian and they talk about how tonight will be the ned of Lethal and Flair will be looking good. Kaz thanks Flair for a watch he received as a gift and says he's never had anything like it.

Rosie Lottalove vs Roxxi

Rosie has control of Roxxi until she tries a big splash in the corner and misses. Roxxi tries fighting back and Madison Rayne comes down and hits Roxxi with the belt. Rosie screams at her and wants to know what she is doing and Roxxi rolls her up from behind and gets the win. After the match, Madison gets in Rosie's face and screams at her until Rosie chokebombs Madison hard on the mat. JB gets with Rosie and she says The Beautiful People think they can try taking out all of the ugly people she has another thing coming. Rosie says she is big, beautiful and has a whole lot of love for everyone, then plants a kiss on a surprised JB and leaves.

Winner - Roxxi

Triple Threat Match
AJ Styles vs Kazarian vs Jay Lethal

Kazarian says he has this and AJ says fine and gets out of the ring. Lethal schoolboys Kazarian for two, then AJ comes in and takes them both down. Lethal comes back and attempts the Lethal Combination but Kazarian dropkicks them both. Lethal keeps fighting back as Kazarian and AJ continue to argue with each other. Kazarian shoves AJ out of the way and hits a jumping cutter on Lethal. They both keep trying to one-up each other with moves and Flair is yelling at them on the ramp. AJ is calling for a springboard and Kazarian leans on the rope so AJ falls. They argue in the corner and Lethal shoves AJ into Kazarian and rolls up AJ for the win.

Winner - Jay Lethal

After the match, Flair gets in the ring and says AJ had the gift of being Flair's protege and he just lost to Jay Lethal. He tells him to go home and think about who he wants to be because right now he’s not in Ric’s good graces. He continues belittling AJ and telling him to go home and make a lifetime decision, and call him when he is ready to come back. On his way to the back Angle comes out and gets in AJ’s face. AJ yells some things at him and leaves while Angle heads to the ring as we go to a commercial.

When we return, Angle gets a mic and says he came to show Kazarian the proper respect before he makes him his first victim. He likes to let his opponents know what he’s going to do to them before he gets in the ring. Angle plans to regain the TNA World Heavyweight Title and Kazarian is #10 on the list, so at Slammiversary he’s his opponent. Angle says your ass is mine and Flair asks if he realizes he just past by him. He says he wanted his son Reid to be like Angle, the greatest amateur wrestler. Flair came to Angle for help for his son and out of respect Angle did it. Flair says he knows Angle is the best amateur wrestler ever but now they’re in Flair’s world and whatever Angle did as an amateur he’s done 10 times over. In wrestling he’s a god and he gets Shawn Michaels' respect. He gets Hogan's respect, he gets Sting's respect and he doesn't feel like he gets any from Angle. Flair tells him until he gets it from Angle he tells Angle to leave like AJ. He says show him respect or leave before he takes his sport coat off.

Angle tries to leave and Flair tells him to hang on and show me respect and let him show how a god acts. Flair gets really cocky and tells Angle this is how it is and Angle better hold the ropes open so Flair can leave first. Angle holds the ropes open for Flair and then attacks Flair on the way out. He throws Flair off the ramp and then Kaz tries to attack Angle. Angle gets right back up and tosses him out of the ring. Flair is mad and screaming at Flair back on the ramp.

Matt Morgan goes up to Sting in the back and says that eventhough they will do anything to win the title, that Sting and Morgan should work together first. Morgan says they should get some two on one advantages and let the match fall in their favor. Sting just shakes his head and leaves after saying nothing to Morgan.

AJ is out back screaming to himself about what Flair told him earlier. AJ says he needs to kill Jay Lethal, and he's going to tell Bischoff he wants Jay Lethal at Slammiversary. AJ punches the wall and leaves.

Christy Hemme is in the ring and say her guest has a big announcement for Slammiversary, and introduces Mr. Anderson. Anderson checks out Hemme and says he was hoping they could have a hard hitting interview but he... he looks her over and she slaps him. He says he's not a pig, he's an asshole. He says the fans are assholes too because they were hoping for a wardrobe malfunction as well. He gets to his big announcement and says Beer Money didn't have opponents and he stepped up to the party. He says he couldn't do it by himself and introduces his partner, Jeff Hardy.

Hardy grabs the mic from Christy and says people have been wondering why he would ever team with Anderson. Hardy says Anderson is a funny asshole and the craziest guy he knows besides himself. He says Slammiversary is going to be a party and invites all the creatures but Anderson says he is a cheap asshole and it's BYOB. Beer Money cuts them off and comes down to the ring looking unhappy. Roode says its cute that TNA's newest BFF's have teamed up. Roode asks them what they know about tag team wrestling and Hardy looks shocked. Roode says OK, Jeff had success early in his career but his brother carried him, and they sucked anyway. Roode says they are a great team, like brothers, and says Hardy and Anderson are like oil and water. He asks them what makes them think they can go into the ring with Beer Money at Slammiversary. Anderson cuts them off and wants to know why Roode's hair is always wet and tells Storm two people wear sunglasses indoors: blind people and jackoffs. Storm says Anderson is funny, and he knows some comedy himself. Storm goes after Anderson and then all four guys brawl as security tries to separate them as we go into a commercial break.

When we get back Hardy and Storm are fighting around the ringside area and this match isn't official yet. Hardy pulls up the padding and hip tosses Storm right onto the cement floor. Hardy finally throws Storm in and the ref rings the bell.

He goes up top but Storm cuts him off, only to be thrown off by Hardy. Hardy hits a twisting dive on Storm and gets a two count. Roode hits a neckbreaker and then rakes Anderson's back. He continues to choke Anderson on the ropes and puts Anderson in a neck vice. Anderson fights out and goes for the Mic Check but can only get a backbody drop. Anderson goes for a floatover pin from the middle rope but Roode holds the ropes and steals the pin.

Winner - Robert Roode

After the match Anderson calls for his mic from the rafters and says any man can be beaten on any given day. But it seems to him that whoever beat him has to use underhanded tactics and tomfoolery. He says the reason is because he is not a mere mortal, he is Mr. Anderson... ANDERSON.

Backstage Douglas Williams is talking about the state of the X Division stars. He calls the X Division acrobats, and that he will keep the belt until he can teach the right way to wrestle. He says that the rest of the guys can try and take his belt, but he'll just ground them and them to the mat and beat them the British way.

Desmond Wolfe & Orlando Jordan vs Rob Terry & Abyss

OJ throws his "dumbbell' at Abyss and then Wolfe goes to work on Abyss and tags in OJ. OJ goes to work on the injured arm of Abyss until Abyss hits a corner splash then throws OJ out of the ring. OJ goes to Chelsea and checks her out and she slaps him. Wolfe gets in his face and asks what he's doing and this gives Abyss a chance to attack him. Inside the ring OJ walks right into Rob Terry and gets chokeslammed by Terry for the pin.

Winners - Abyss & Rob Terry

RVD goes after Sting outside and Joe and Morgan are inside. Joe hits Morgan with an enziguiri and Sting brings RVD back in the ring. RVD hits an atomic drop followed by a superkick on Sting. Samoa Joe stares RVD down and then they square off until Sting and Morgan attack them. RVD fights back and hits a thrust kick off the top and then hits the Rolling Thunder and goes for the cover until Morgan breaks it up. Morgan clotheslines Sting and then gets thrown out of the ring by Joe. Morgan gets back in and takes the three other guys down and he puts RVD in the corner and hits the rapid elbows.
