Everyone returns from the mandir. VD calls out to Nivi, viren says “tayi ji, what happened?” VD says “nothing, I just had to give this Prasad to Nivi. Here you take some too.” VD gives some offerings to Viren. “Did you not go to the office today?” Viren says “I did, but…” Vd and Viren notice Nivi walk down the stairs. “I came back as I had some work.” VD gives some offerings to Nivi too and leaves along with divya to get tea for everyone. NivRen exchange looks; Nivi serves Yd and Bs water. CC arrives in the lounge room. “CC, how was the lunch with your friends?” asks YD. Worried CC looks at Viren. Viren says “Lunch? Dadi Ma, the lunch was so…” Nivi holds on to Viren’s hand as she indicates him to not to tell them about whatever happened. Bs says “you were saying something.” Viren says “Today’s lunch was very good.” CC sighs in relief. “I’ll remember it my entire life.” Viren leaves, Yd says “CC, you should’ve come to the mandir with us. It was so peaceful today. Id you take the Prasad? Nivi give her some.” Nivi was about to give her the Prasad, but CC leaves by saying “leave it, I’ll take it later.”
Viren in his room, walking back nd forth, continuously keeps getting FB of CC and the argument. (I remember his guitar and the dancing scene each time i se him in this Tee *drools*) Nivi enters saying “you’re walking around without eating any food? How come you didn’t eat anything?” Viren says “I didn’t feel like eating anything.” Nivi says “Viren, you shouldn’t have speokn to ma like this. This matter is between me and her, how bad must have she felt about this. Please hear me this once, go and apologise to her.” Viren says “No! I won’t.” Nivi says ‘Viren she is our mother.” Viren loses his cool and says “so what? Just because she is my mother that doesn’t mean she has the right to say whatever she wants.’ Nivi says “okay, relax. You’re still not completely well. Have some rest viren, go to sleep.” Viren says “you can sleep if you want, i am not sleepy.” Nivi says “Viren…please go to sleep.” Both NivRen lie on the bed, both wish each other good night, but neither of them are unable to sleep.
CC on the terrace, she keeps having flashbacks of Viren disowning her. (Ha that’s my Viren’s fav spot.) Cc is Damn Angry! Sid sees Viren standing in the corridor. Viren sees sid and says “Sid? you?” sid says “well actually i was going to get water. There was no water in the room, so divya asked me to get water from the kitchen. Btu what are you doing here? Did Nivi send you to get water aswell?” Viren says “No Sid, I’m not that lucky. I don’t have such sweet arguments in my life.” Sid says “what happened? did something happen between the two of you again?” Viren says “No, it’s nothing like that.” Sid asks “then what’s the matter?” Viren says “Sid, I have always failed to understand Life. Why can’t life be easy?” Sid says “I don’t know what happened in your life and why you are upset. But it’s not right to blame your life for your complications. Tell me what the matter is.” CC arrives in the corridor, Viren look at CC and then says to sid that it’s nothing and leaves. CC calls out to Viren, but he left. Sid asks CC about the matter. CC says “why? Didn’t you brother tell you what happened? Or are you acting as if you don’t know anything?” Sid is cofused.
Next morning, Nandu is setting up the table; CC comes in the dining room. “CC bhabi…how come you’re here so early.” asks Nandu. CC says “why? Do i need someone’s permission before coming here? Today make omelette and toast for viren. My son has forgotten his habit ever since he stayed in that house. I don’t my son to be like them.” Nandu says “viren hasn’t returned back from the jog, then how could i make his breakfast so early?” CC says “WHAT? My son isn’t completely well yet and he’s gone for jogging…didn’t anyone stop him? god, what has happened to the people of this house.” Nivi comes with juice for viren, she wishes CC good morning, but she ignores it. Viren returns from his jog and happily wishes Nivi good morning; his smile fades as soon as he sees CC. (Gosh the smile i am willing to die for disappeared, only because of this CC….ARGH!AngryAngryAngryAngry) Nivi gives him juice; Viren says “how did you know that i needed juice? Well, a wife should be like you, in a life like this.” CC says “Viren, did you go for a jog? Good, go and quickly freshen up. I got your favourite breakfast made, toast and omelette. You really missed all this didn’t you? I’m sure you didn’t get your favourite food while you were in that house.” Viren says “you know what Niveditha, My taste has changed. I can’t enjoy my breakfast unless there’s paranthe. Can i get some? I know you won’t refuse to make them for me, but please do hurry up as i need to go. And please can you bring them in my room.” (Whoops…Embarrassed) Nivi nods with a smile and leaves. Viren was about to leave but CC stops him and says “I know you are very angry with me, but please can we forget the past? I have forgotten everything last night. See small arguments happen when a family lives under one roof.” Viren says “right, I’m glad that you forgotten the past, but i’ll forget the past only when you accept Nivi as your D-I-L” CC watches Viren leave.
Yash calls Nivi and tells her about gaurav and his friends still after him. Nivi gets tensed, Sid over hears the convo and asks Nivi if there is any problem. Nivi narrates the entire story to Sid, sid assures her that everything will be fine and he’ll try to do whatever he can. CC overhears.
Everyone having a good time in the lounge room, Laal ji kaka provokes SidRen to have another game of chess like the other day. Sid says “you won last time because DS was with you.” Laal ji kaka says “fine, this time I’ll verse you all alone. What say bauji?” Bs says “We don’t challenge others, but if others challenge us then we don’t back out! Fine, let’s have a game of chess.” All were headed to the library, Bs invites Nivi and Divya to join in as well, as lady luck is always good. CC stops them and says “I have something to say to you all. Perhaps you all may not belive this but for the past few days I was thinking why am i not happy. I have everything but I am not happy, then i realised that I’m the reason for not being happy. I always hated Nivi even though i knew she was my son’s life. I didn’t accept her as my D-I-L; this hatred stole everything from me. now I too want to be happy, I want all those things back that i lost. I want to accept Nivi as my D-I-L. Nivi please forgive me.” Both Nivi and Cc hug. (Why am i finding this really hard to believe? *Yawn*Sleepy) “Viren she has forgiven me, now will you forgive me, please?” Viren is curious, but he forgives her. Everyone is happy, Bs says “today love has won. Laal ji kaka no more chess challenge, we have nothing left to win.” Sid says “congratulations Nivi, I knew you’d win one day but this soon…hats off to you.” Nivi says “this victory belongs to all of you; if you weren’t there for me then i would’ve lost all the hope long time back.” CC goes to Divya and says ‘It’s a really auspicious day, everyone is so happy. we are a family once again. I accepted Nivi, Viren accepted me. Sid and Nivi are friends once again, see how happy the look.” Divya smiles, CC smirks. (*Sigh* some people can never change, not matter how hard you try *rolls eyes*)
Precap: CC trying to poison Divya’s mind again. (Divya if you fall for Cc’s words again, i’ll srsly shoot you! it’s high time you started using your brain!)

Chaand Chhupa Baadal Mein 24th November 2010 Written Update
The episode starts with Chanchal insulting our heroine saying that Viren hasn’t even been here a day after getting married, and already he’s gone, leaving her here.
Yashodhara says that guests are coming, so Chanchal shouldn’t be doing all this… Chanchal looks at her mother-in-law in shock (it’s like, “OMG, Maa.. you’re defending her? As if, I thought you hated her as much as I did).
Viren’s mother then says that Nivi doesn’t deserve to be seen among the guests… the bad luck she is. She drags Nivi up the stairs, ignoring Vandana’s cries. (Poor Vandana, if only you had been Viren’s mother. I reckon things would have been so much better)
Chanchal pushes Nivi into a room, and tells her to lock it from the inside. If anyone should see & recognise her, then there will be no greater punishment than from Her Highness. She walks away, leaving our heroine in tears. (Okay, the room is pretty nicely decorated. Kudos to the set designers. LOL.)

In SidYa’s room… Divya is getting ready for the Muh Dekhai tradition (for all the the non-Indians.. it’s like a bride viewing for the groom’s side.. all those people who haven’t seen the bride yet). Her friends are teasing her about Sid, when he rocks up, stands outside his door, and says “Excuse me” like a gora-wannabe. (LOL. I know, I’m being mean. But he pisses me off, coward kahin ka)
He wants to get a file out of his cupboard, so he comes in.. and Divya’s friends wonder if Sid wanted the file, or to see his bride. Divya notices the glumness (and slight anger) in his face, and tells her mates to back off. The friends turn around and say that they were teasing him, but she got offended – so much love b/w bride & groom. Sid walks off, leaving Divya distraught.

Back in the pretty room (which is her & Viren’s room), Nivi is remembering how her Dadi said there was no more space for her in their house & how Yash gave her Dadi’s present saying to see it as a blessing of some sort. Someone knocks insistently on the door, and Nivi quickly wipes her tears, and opens the door. At first she’s shocked, but then she smiles in relief. (Could it be?)

Downstairs, guests are arriving for the MD tradition. Yashodhara Ma (*rolls eyes*) says that the rasam can be started now. Women start complimenting Divya, and one says that with such a pretty bride, their house will be more respected. Yashodhara Ma & Her Highness look at each other, silently groaning… when they look up.
It’s Super Vandana to the rescue!! She’s brought Nivi down for the MD tradition. (& why the hell not, she’s a bride as well.. and she’s also a pretty bride. LOL.) YM & HH are in complete shock. & the guests are looking pretty damn confused.
One of the guests starts up, and asks what’s going on. Super Vandana says that they wanted to tell everyone that there are two daughter-in-laws, and that Nivedita should be given the same amount of rights. (Gosh, the amount of hatred etched on HH’s face is hard to ignore. FM!)
The guest recognises Nivi as Keshav’s daughter.. and asks YM why there was an invite for only one MD.. but both brides are sitting there. YM says to ignore all that, and to continue the rasam. SV sits Nivi down and reassures her that she’ll be back with the kajal box. Chanchal follows her.

SV meets HH in the hallway. & the showdown begins. HH says that she purposely hid Nivi from all the guests, but SV just had to bring her out. WHY?
SV says that she’s never seen any difference b/w Sid & Viren… Viren is her son, and in front of God, he got married to Nivi. She is now the daughter-in-law of this house, and as their duty, they must accept it.
HH counters and says that if Viren accepted her as his wife, he would be supporting her right now… instead of leaving halfway through the night. If SV really sees Viren as her son, why doesn’t she see that Nivi will make Viren’s life hell. (Umm Chanchal, I hate to burst your bubble. But the only devil-like creature here is… you!) Why is SV doing all this – why is she letting the family’s name being ruined? Why is she letting that middle-class girl into their family?
(I love this bit.) SV turns around and says that she doesn’t give a damn about rich-poor.. she sees the good & bad deeds people commit. & as for that fake reputation and respect the Sood family hides behind, SV doesn’t care for it now, nor did she when she was mistreated by the family. (You go Super Vandana!) SV will not let Nivi be mistreated as SV was. Nivi is the daughter-in-law of this family, and no matter who it is… they will be given respect and love for being part of this family. & SV will make sure this right is given to them. She walks away.

Back in the formal area, one guest questions if the second daughter-in-law is the wife of the younger grandson. (You betcha. Definitely the better looking one as well.) SV walks back in, and our heroine is still cowering in fear as if someone’s gonna start a shootout or something. SV does the Kajal Nazar rasam (I didn’t know what to bloody call it. LMAO.) and the talkative guest says that they should do Nivi’s MD as well.
(Okay, Nivi is looking beyond STUNNING. Side hair partings look way too good on her.) The guest opens her dupatta, and then basically insults Nivi. (Teri toh!!) HH is maha pissed off. (Oh, get over yourself. I see HH & SV as Divya & Nivi.. we should have a flashback sequence of their weddings.) The guest says that a lot of questions are going to be asked now. SV says that questions are always going to be asked. The guest sits down in a huff. (Serves her right, blah!)
Just then, another guest makes her entrance telling the servant not to drop the gift (damn, it’s a HUGE box). She comes in and says she hopes she’s not late. She says she got sidetracked by Mrs. Chadda’s in-law’s niece’s sister’s wedding. Finally she notices the brides, and says there’s two daughter-in-laws (no s*** Sherlock!). The other guest says that one’s Sid’s and the other’s Viren’s.
The guest then says Nivi’s Sid’s bride, right? She complains to YM to have explained to Sid to get a better looking bride. The other guest says that’s Viren’s bride. Mrs. Khurana looks at Nivi in shock. Sid comes in, and stops. Mrs. Khurana says that Nivi’s Sid’s friend… and she’s seen them together, alone!! (Umm, losers, that was probably when NivArth went looking for Yash or Divya!)
Everyone’s face is one of shock. Sid wants to kill someone (preferably Mrs. Khurana?), and the guest continues the taunts. She ends with that Nivi loved one brother but married the other. (LMAO. So right!!) And then Sid comes in… tells Mrs. K to be quiet! (Whoa. Angry Sid is BACK. & with a vengance!)
Showdown b/w Mrs. K & Sid. Sid says that as a guest, she is welcome.. but if she’s going to point fingers, she can leave. Mrs. K turns around and says that she is a respected person, and everyone sitting there are respected as well.. if the Soods wanna be respected, then they have to answer to every question asked. Sid provokes Mrs. K into asking Sid what his r/ship is with Nivi. Epi ends on Sid’s face.
Precap: HH has had enough of Nivi, and tells Sid that because of her, Viren isn’t in this house. She drags Nivi out, and pushes her down the steps.. but our hero saves her!!

What an action packed, showdown throwing, mindblowing EPISODE!!

Siddharth goes behind Bahuji and Chanchal says no need to go behind dadaji nothing wil happen now his heart is broken now.and all this happen b/c of your friendship with Nivedita
Siddharth Says Enough Chachji now i know everything happened b/c of me no one need to tell me anything.and leaves from there

The Show Starts with sid on the terrace remebering wht chanchal had said[ he is so upset want to give him hug] Sid looking so sad and looking at nivi’s house then the scene shift to chanchal and her husband cames and ask what happen and she says why did we came here and we should not have came here everythime why do we do want they want us to do.you shoud not have sent viren away[her tears are rolling down through her cheeks]Chanchal now in this house viren will never be able to get his position/place in this house.what did you got by sending my son away Part 1 is basically abt chanchal and her husband arguing.

Sid mom comes where sid is[on terrace]
Mom-after this many years something has been said to chanchal.she must be hurt by it
and sad
Sid- i know mom i did not want to do it but chachi can tell me anything and i will listen because i am young
i am the son of this house but if she says like this to you mom then no i will not listen/tolerate
Mom- i don’t get hurt by this kind of conversation beta
Sid- but mom i get sad/hurt by it.you are not only bahu of this house.papa nahi rahe phir bhi you took care of this house like it’s ours being a sood mom.and i know what the truth is mom you always wanted me to be like dadaji right and listen every thing what dadaji says right do what he says this is what you teach me mom.she still not belive you as sood today too.she loves me alot but she cannot see it that whatever i am today is because of you mom

nivi going to close the door and nivarth sees eachother[looking sad]Nivi slowly closes the door of her house.sid has tears in his eyes.Scene shift inside of nivi’s house where dadi is even dadi tears are rolling down through her cheeks.dadi says first time something happened in our house and i do not know wht happen. now it’s morning nivi looking for yash.she goes to yash roomg and sees he is not there so she goes outside and we get to see yash sleeping on the bench.Nivi saying to yash wake up wake up you did not came inside.you slept here all night
you must be cold.i will make tea for you.yash opens his eyes and says did dad went to the office nivi says not yet dad is getting ready.forget everything yash you know papa’s anger very well.common now wake up because you also need to go to school and today is your result and don’t worry you will get good marks.

Nivi Says to dadi you did not went to the mandir[temple]
Dadi- how can i leave my work
Scene shift to sood family having breakfast and dadaji ask did siddharth left and here we go again unwanted dialogue by chanchal and then sid comes and say sorry to dadaji.sid mom is about to put more food in his plate but sid says mom this is enough i am in hurry today because i have to go look for hotel sites. Scene Shift to Nivi’s kitchen dadi feeding to yash.eat good and you will be healthy and you will get good marks
yash says to dadi yes but nothing will be matter so i do not want to become something i do not want to study and all and then nivi dadi and yash hugs
